Il Southern Wolves compie un anno. Un anno di buona musica, incontri e scontri, collaborazioni e idee, un anno di attese e speranze, ma soprattutto un anno di bestemmie e gioie. Ora tireremo un pò di somme. L'anno scorso fu un'un occasione per conoscerci, perchè i frequentatori di Basilicata Metal potessero incontrarsi anche dal vivo. Oggi il Southern Wolves corre sulle sue gambe, Basilicata Metal è cresciuta ancora di più ed ha un braccio nella realtà con l'associazione culturale Astarte. Sul Palco ci saranno gli amici DrowneD in visita dalla Calabria e gli ormai affermati Ecnephias che giocano in casa. Lo staff del Circolo ARCI Al Verde è pronto ad accogliervi nel migliore dei modi. Biografia - Ecnephias è una band death, doom metal, formata a Potenza nel 1996 dal frontman Mancan, musicista e avvocato. "November", "Dominium Noctis", "Haereticus", "Ways of Descention", "Inferno" e "Necrogod" sono i lavori pubblicati ad oggi dalla band, cui va aggiunta la raccolta "Cold winds from beyond". Ogni uscita ha ricevuto una risposta entusiastica da parte della stampa specializzata e ha fatto guadagnare alla band una stima e un seguito crescenti nella scena italiana e fuori confine. Il combo è noto da anni nella scena metal estrema per il marchio di fabbrica personale e teatrale, atmosferico e mediterraneo, pregno di influenze che vanno dal dark rock al metal di bands quali Moonspell, Rotting Christ, Septicflesh, Ulver, Paradise Lost. Le lingue utilizzate sono l’inglese, il latino e l’italiano. La band si è esibita spesso dal vivo come headliner o in supporto a bands storiche italiane ed estere ed ha anche partecipato due volte all’ Agglutination Festival (XV, XVIII) e all’imponente Total Metal Festival nel 2009 e nel 2014. Nel 2015 la band rilascerà il quinto album, "Ecnephias", e supererà il traguardo dei primi 10 anni ininterrotti di attività.

DrowneD - Swedish Death

DrowneD born as a personal project, with the desire to give vent to the passion for music of the guitarist Daniel (ex Hate Him, Bad Swan, Latexxx Teens). Having laid some tracks down, he starts searching for others members to bring the project on the stage. He submits them to Luciano(ex Etic Of Perversion, Warocracy, Epidemik), who, enthusiastic, also introduces in the project his former guitarist Danilo (Epidemik), who fits perfectly in it. After trying a few elements, Salvatore (Nescio Vos) on drums and Piero (ex Draconian Order) complete the formation. The project aims to propose a Swedish death metal, mixed with Black and Doom elements, who approaches the band's sound to bands like Bloodbath, Hypocrisy, Behemoth, Entombed, etc.. At the moment the band is rehearsing to refine and complete the writing of the tracks that will be in the first self-produced full lenght, expecting to bring it out between September and October.
